| its not the fact that the bags don't break down - they totally do.. but the thing is that they never really dissapear. they decompose into tiny particles, and even though it may be really hard for us to see them in the water, the fish can and they mistake them for plankton. | Bullcrap! I used to live on a corner lot when growing up and my three brothers would avoid yardwork, so every four days the yard would get cleaned. The plastic bags littered by passersby as they cut through our yard would already be decomposing in the sun. Not to mention the fake palm fringe I glued up on the cabannas by my pool recently here in california: turned to powder and string I had to sweep up in two short months! | jamplease1 |
