| Barbara is no joke n so underrated. she is another legend of many that cannot be measured up to vocally, n hardly ever gets any recognition for it. its like she faded with the 80's. it makes me sick to think that she wont be honored or tributed 1 day in the way that she deserves for her angelic voice until she too, passes away. however, this child is unbelievable!! i've seen all her clips n she needs to start giving some singing lessons to some of these shitty artists LOL. Two PBS concerts in just over a year. People who knew about Jackie when she was 8 & 9 said she was going to be big. On a side note. Jackie just performed as a guest on CGT finale. | I agree and it is very difficult to record the "belters" (sometimes actually shouting) because we have to keep our hand on the level control all of the time and a sharp eye on the VU meter. With a singer like Jackie we just set it and relax. Her vocal technique, and purity of tone, is unlike any other that I have witnessed in my 47 years as a sound and recording engineer.
