| I have a couple of questions: What is the purpose of the primaries/caucuses in electing the party nominee if the delegates at the DNC do the same? Is the DNC nomination a formality in preparation of the delegates nominating for the actual presidential election?
Also what is the purpose of getting votes from non voteholding territories like Samoa and "Democrats living abroad"??

I am a Libertarian and totally opposed to fascism, socialism and communism but I will have my eyes glued on this. FYI I am opposed to religions nut jobs dictating law on the right as well to be fair and balanced.
